Richard Coleman has 25 years of experience in the cutting tool industry and PVD thin-film coatings market.
Richard has a B.S. in education from Florida International University along with a Masters of Management from
Cambridge College, Boston, MA. Richard spent 13 years with Union/Butterfield in sales, marketing, and applications
engineering of cutting tools (HSS, Carbide). Richards last 12 years has been with Balzers. He spent 10 years in
Agawan Center as an Applications Engineer and the past two and half yearsat the elgin center as the Regional Sales Manager

Brian Welch has 6 years experience in the cutting tool industry and PVD thin-film coating market.
Brian is in pursuit of a B.S in Marketing from Upper Iowa University. Brian has spent 5 years with T.J Grinding Inc in
customer service and outside sales. Brian has been with Balzers since May of 2000 where he is an Applications Engineer
for the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
